Les "Andy" Anderson was a founding volunteer of the Connections Museum. He was born in the farmlands south of Seattle in 1924. In the early 1940s, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and fought in the Pacific Theater in World War II. After the end of the war, he married and purchased a house in Ballard where he raised his children. He was employed by Western Electric as a central office installer from 1945 until his retirement in 1984.
