Facility

A facility is a means by which voice or data can be transmitted. Facility is a general term that applies to any mode of transport that information can take to get from one location to another. Facilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • underground cable
  • open wire
  • microwave
  • L-carrier
  • fiber-optic
