The DMS-10 is a member of the Digital Multiplex System product family designed and manufactured by Nortel Networks Corporation. Development started in 1971 and the first DMS-10 was put into service in October 1977. Unlike most if not all other switches originally designed in the 1970s, some DMS-10s are still used in commercial telephony.
