Strowger Step-by-Step (SXS) Switch

The third floor Strowger Step-by-Step (SXS) Switch is a Western Electric 355 A manufactured around 1949. It was in service in Port Angeles, Washington before being donated to the museum. The step-by-step's line finders are retrofitted with boxes that convert touch-tone signals to dial-pulse.
